Dubreuilville ends up being the first NOWT sanctioned event of the 2012 season due to the Forest Fire rescheduled Mattagami First Nation Walleye Tournament.  Anglers from all over Northern Ontario are taking part in the Dubreuilville Father’s Day Walleye Derby this weekend, June 16th and 17th.  Payout schedule has been increased due to the large field that was unexpected but welcomed.  1st place will now be $6000 and 2nd place will be $3000.  All walleyes will be released as this is a live release tournament and trail.  A new weigh in procedure will eliminate waiting in line.  Lots of big walleyes in this system and the bite is on.  This tournament is well run and lot of fun for all.  Water levels are high.  See you out there!
