Dan Guay, one of the organizers for this great tournament informed the NOWT of some exciting opportunities for this years tournament. New this year is the youth angler prize and the most improved team from Saturday to Sunday. A first place bonus prize of $500 will be given to the team that place the highest with an angler 16 yrs of age and younger. There is also a second place bonus prize of $250 under the same rule. Also, the team that improves the most from Day 1 to Day 2 will receive a cruise(valued at $1500.00). Get signed up early as this looks to be great tournament for the Father’s Day weekend.

for those who are wondering the magpie is very high this year.it will be like all the previous years.And if you like big fish this is the place,over 40 walleye of 5 pound and up were caught last year at the derby.see you out there.
