Streamside has decided to partner with the largest Walleye tournament circuit in Canada, The Northern Ontario Walleye Trail(NOWT) for this upcoming 2012 season. Streamside is giving a lucky participating team for each tournament a $650-$700 retail prize package that includes Two Predator rods & reels, Kamakazi hooks, compaq jigs/terminal tackle and an assortment of swedish pimples. As Vice President of the NOWT, I would like to publicly thank Streamside for their committment. Without the corporate support and the many volunteer hours by our members this circuit would not exist.
The NOWT takes great pride in the fact they use innovative techniques to make sure all fish caught during the tournament can be returned to their waters. The fish are transported and weighed in water to reduce stress. They are then monitored in a holding tank to confirm health and released back into the waters in a safe manner. The NOWT is a not for profit organization with a mission to promote the sport of fishing while exercising conservation. It is important to leave the waters and surrounding area exactly the way we find them.
The NOWT is a grassroots circuit that is built on the weekend warriors and the many who just love to fish. If you are looking for a great time and some competitive edge then check out our 6 tournament locations this summer. We also have an Angler of the Year points race if you can fish at least 3 tournaments.  Go to www.streamside.ca to find out more about their great products.
That’s a great partnership! Thanks Streamside.
Thanks, Streamside! We were one the lucky winners of your prize packages at the Sagamok Fall Walleye Classic 2012 held on September 22-23, 2012.
