Another 2015 NOWT event is in the books. The organizers of the Geraldton Walleye Classic have once again put on a stellar tournament.

The Wawa team of Travis Gendron and Trevor Bernath earned top prize with their two day total of 32.93 pounds of Magpie River walleye!

In two weeks the 2015 NOWT season will kick off at the first event of the year - the Mattagami Lake First Nations Walleye Tournament.
Henri thought that he was going to have the big fish of the day while he and his wife Annie were prefishing the Kapuskasing river.
I caught this beautifully colored, 24-inch walleye on Kenogamissi Lake just southwest of Timmins, Ontario. Pitching a 1/8 oz jig tipped with a minnow into shallow, timber-strewn shoreline landed me several nice walleyes over 20 inches in mid-June. Photographed and released. - Andy Yu
